The island of Borneo, includes portions divided among 3 nations: Indonesia, Malaysia, and Bruni. It is home to one bird family, three endemic bird genera, and 61 bird species. The habitats of this once densely forested island are steadily being lost to palm oil plantations and timber harvests. Decline of these habitats drives an increasing threat to Borneo's birds. Please join us for an interesting presentation by Deneb, from a part of the world that few of us have a chance to experience.
