Do you wonder what the Conservation Committee does? Read this (paraphrased from OPAS By-Laws):
Keep informed on local, state, and national governmental policies and action affecting the natural environment and the conservation of natural resources
Endeavor to coordinate (the committee’s) actions with the policies and activities of the National Audubon Society
Work on at least one major conservation or environmental project.
