Do you wonder what the Conservation Committee does? Read this (paraphrased from OPAS By-Laws):

  • Keep informed on local, state, and national governmental policies and action affecting the natural environment and the conservation of natural resources

  • Endeavor to coordinate (the committee’s) actions with the policies and activities of the National Audubon Society

  • Work on at least one major conservation or environmental project.
