Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society Field Trip

Fort Flagler State Park

Date and Time:  Sunday, October 6, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Leader:  John Gatchet

Meeting Place:  Parking area at the entrance to the park.

Cost: The trip is free, but either a day pass or a Discover Pass is needed for the state park.

Features:  Forest, salt water, shoreline and marsh bird species will be the focus of this field trip. This is a large park and we will be visiting all the prime locations in this beautiful area. There will be walking on trails and hiking on uneven cobblestone beaches. Expect 60 bird species as we visit a variety of habitats.

Bring:  Binoculars, spotting scope, water, snacks/lunch as well as appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather.
