John Wayne Marina and Diamond Point Accessible and Inclusive Bird Outing

*Wheelchair accessible preference will be given. Participants limited to four wheelchairs, each with an accompanying friend. Maximum of 8 participants. Registration required.

Meet at John Wayne Marina - north end of parking lot.

Liability release form required (see below)

Cost: Free

John Wayne Marina features mostly flat, cement walkways with great views of water and shorelines.  Benches and tables available along route. Lots of parking. Restrooms available.

Diamond Point features 10-20 yards of grass to gazebo with great views of water, shoreline, and Protection Island. Short distance to inland pond. Flat.

Birds we may see include Black Oystercatchers, loons, Common Murres, auklets, grebes, and several duck species, cormorants, and gulls.
