Please join us for the next installment in our continuing series of educational programs for DNWR Volunteers.
A survey of the many wintering bird species and the many birds we see on the Spit and in the adjacent waters. The class will feature why the birds are here, where they come from, ID tips, and the importance of the Spit to both resident and migratory birds. The presentation will be enhanced by an array of Dow Lambert’s superb local photographs.
Refuge volunteers, members of the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society and the Dungeness River Audubon Center are invited to attend. Open to the public.
