Conservation Committee

Join the OPAS Conservation Committee

Do you wonder what the Conservation Committee does? Read this (paraphrased from OPAS By-Laws):

  • Keep informed on local, state, and national governmental policies and action affecting the natural environment and the conservation of natural resources
  • Endeavor to coordinate (the committee’s) actions with the policies and activities of the National Audubon Society
  • Work on at least one major conservation or environmental project.

The Conservation Committee currently has ten members. Please join us—your efforts would be a welcome addition. You’d be helping to monitor and protect our natural environment. To join, send email to OPAS president Bob Phreaner or call him at (360) 504-2110.
